At Mountain View High School – in the very heart of Sillicon Valley, under the leadership of Dr. Kip Glazer, we experienced something truly revolutionary: an innovative way to grow literacy, STEM skills, and creativity — by using the principles of gaming.
It wasn’t just about “gamifying” education. It was about students themselves designing the methods and tools that educators can use. Real ownership. Learning that sticks.
Seeing this in action was a powerful reminder: the best education doesn’t just happen TO students — it happens WITH them.
What if more schools worked like this? What if more educators — and amazing students — found pathways to share and scale their ideas about youth development.
