This week I was present at two fantastic events, both in New York City.

First, the Atlantic Council Nuclear Energy Policy Summit. Where a highly touched topic was, of course, the Artificial Intelligence and its explosive thirst of power – whether nuclear, SMR, gas, solar, wind, hydro or others.

The second, probably one of the most distinguished events in the world: the Global Citizen Awards Gala. I had the priviledge to meet and share ideas with inspiring people, visionary leaders, and strong business executives.

Presidents Macron, Milei and Gianni Infantino were in the Ballroom and delivered great words.

Americans say more and more that Europe is at risk to remain behind this race for AI, relevance, money and power.

I believe that the only chance Romania has in this fragile context is to create a strong direct bridge between the American and Romanian societies and business communities, to become relevant on the world stage.

It was a great experience for which I am very grateful.

In the city that never sleeps, of course I didnt get much sleep either 😀 But the time spent here was fantastic. It is a crowded, noisy and eclectic city, but a very vibrant place to live and work. And I can’t wait to get back here with the following occasion.
