Fantastic EANA – The European Alliance of News Agencies events in Rome!
On the first day I had the pleasure of meeting the President of the Republic of Italy, Sergio Mattarella, at the Palazzo del Quirinale, and on the second day I was reelected as Secretary General of the Alliance for a third term of three years! Exciting developments that weigh heavily! Through the meeting with the President of Italy, EANA gained even more international legitimacy as the representative of the leading European news agencies. Many thanks to colleagues in ANSA for organising it!
Also a fantastic conference day yesterday, with wonderful speakers to whom I extend my thanks for taking the time to share their views on the future of news agencies!
