Last week, I had a great time participating, for my second year now, at the Parliamentary Intelligence-Security Forum. The event was generously hosted by the 🇺🇸U.S. Senate, at the initiative of the honorable Robert Pittenger, and brought together MPs and parliamentary advisors from more than 50 countries.

One of the priority themes was how to develop robust legislative measures to counter the malign influence of Russia and China in our societies. It is heartening to see how elected representatives from around the world are working together to implement strong measures, from foreign investment screening commissions to broad measures to reduce dependence on raw materials from China, to make our societies free from the influence of actors with divergent strategic agendas.hashtag#PISF
