Such an honour to moderate Atlantic Council’s dicussion on the 140 years of diplomatic relations between United States and Romania and one decade of #strategicpartnership. As the transatlantic alliance faces increasingly complex challenges, this partnership can help inform a post-COVID-19 transatlantic strategy and can bring more #societalresilience. The extraordinary panel outlined key challenges and opportunities for #growth, #prosperity, and #security, both in the Black Sea region and Europe more broadly. We covered key developments at regional level, such as the Three Seas Initiative, The Clean Network, Via Carpathia, but also the recently signed 7 billion dollar MOU to help promote business development opportunities, particularly in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
