Delighted to have organised and moderated a meeting between EBRD Board Directors and civil society representatives during the Board’s visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The exchange offered a valuable opportunity to reflect on the country’s reform priorities and the crucial role of civil society in advancing them.

Our discussions covered a wide range of topics, including:
• strengthening good governance and addressing the challenges of political reform,
• promoting economic inclusion and gender equality,
• advancing the green transition and sustainable development,
• and tackling key environmental and social issues affecting local communities.

I am grateful to all participants for their thoughtful contributions. Civil society engagement is an essential part of our work at the EBRD, helping ensure that our policies and investments are inclusive, sustainable, and impactful.
