Just got back from Warsaw, where I had the chance to take part in the very first edition of the Cancer Mission Fair – and it was truly inspiring!

Organised by the ECHoS | Establishing of Cancer Mission Hubs: Networks and Synergies project and backed by the European Commission, the event brought together people from across Europe who are working to transform the way we prevent, detect, and live with cancer.

I was proud to represent both 4P-CAN Project and ECHoS | Establishing of Cancer Mission Hubs: Networks and Synergies projects where we’re working together to support the implementation of the EU Cancer Mission through strategic alignment and collaboration, citizen engagement and shared knowledge.

One of the most exciting aspects of the event was the clear synergy between hashtag#4PCAN and hashtag#ECHoS – especially in shaping a prevention-focused impact model and applying network analysis to better understand the stakeholders, communities and individuals that are key to sustainable change.

Through the Living Lab in rural Romania, we’re showing how citizen-centred innovation can become a real driver of cancer prevention in the EU – and how deep listening and collaboration can help scale impact from local to European level.

Thanks to the ECHoS team and colleagues from Polish National Cancer Mission Hub for organising such a meaningful first edition of the Cancer Mission Fair!
