🔬📢 At the Centre for Innovation in Medicine (InoMed) we’ve accomplished many meaningful things over the years — but one of them remains surprisingly underrated, despite the impact it continues to have on people’s lives.

8 years ago, we launched Raportuldegarda.ro — a health innovation communication platform for citizens, patients, and healthcare professionals in Romania. It began as an experimental project, created by a team of young graduates from our “Communication of Innovation, Innovation in Communication” course. We wanted to give them a space to apply in practice what they had just learned in theory.

Today, reality has far exceeded even our most optimistic expectations.

🎯 Raportuldegarda.ro has become:

🔹 The #1 destination for high-quality medical information in Romania — timely, trustworthy, and grounded in cutting-edge science.
🔹 A source cited in university theses, doctoral dissertations, and scientific books — a clear marker of academic and scientific relevance.
🔹 The first and most accurate prediction platform for the COVID-19 trajectory in Romania — published early in the pandemic and confirmed over time.
🔹 A channel that reached over 2 million unique users during the pandemic’s peak months (March and April 2020) — more than 10% of Romania’s population.
🔹 A consistent voice in supporting the European cancer agenda, from Romania’s 2019 EU Council Presidency to the implementation of the Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan and the Cancer Mission.

💡 But beyond all these achievements, this is a story about people.

About the young minds who, in the beginning, were covering major international congresses — ASCO, ESMO, ESC and so on — with live video and text.
And who today are co-authors of scientific abstracts accepted at those same high level congresses, based on research and innovation projects from our organisation.

And now, more than ever, Raportuldegarda.ro is fit for the AI age.
