Many of you probably know that I m not such a good english speaker. Actually, I am not a good speaker at all.
But, because it is a provocative subject, I will hazard a few words.
The first time I read about blockchain -not only about the technological aspect, but also about the philosophical movement behind this phenomenon-I was in Tuscany, at a wineyard. They have good wines, really!
One of my revelations-I m not sure the wine is to blame-is that Blockchain axioma: elimination of the intermediaries in all processes- it s a kind of technological marxism (be carefull, this is my concept, do not use it for free!).
I am always seduced by theory! The seduction of the concepts is one of my vulnerabilities. Look at my little theory:
First there was „economical marxism” (failed).
Then there was „cultural marxism” -with the political correctness (failure in progress)
And now we speak about Blockchain revolution which is „technological marxism”.
This was my ideea at the begining, but after I understood Don and Alex Tapscott perspective, i was ready to re-evaluate it.
We are now in post-truth era, the trust between establishment and people is crushed and from this point of view, Blockchain revolution, its core philosophy combined with a high level of technology deployment gives us a shimmer of hope.
So, I changed my mind. We need the new trust-protocol! I pledge to think alongside you all about this because we need to investigate all the possibilities, all the ways in which we can create a better future.
In many ways, the book of my friend Alex should be the start for a larger global debate. A „distributed ledger” debate.
