In Madrid, presenting to the esteemed Spanish partners the benefits of expert-level presence within the Euro-Atlantic Resilience Centre. To this end, we had a first meeting at the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, where the E-ARC team met the Deputy Head of the Foreign Policies and National Security Department, Mr. Manuel Selas, accompanied by Mr. Alfonso Tena Garcia, representing the Department of EU Countries.

At the Elcano Institute, the largest international relations Institute from Spain, we had an in-depth discussion joined by Romanian diplomats in Madrid, Raluca Mihăilă (chargés d’affaires ad interim) and Florin Vlad. Together with Mr. Charles Powell, the director of the Institute, and his colleagues – experts in cyber ​​security, energy and human protection -, we discussed E-ARC projects, dwelling on the new Enhanced Analytic Resilience Index launched yesterday by the Center.
