Thank you to EBRD and Endeavor for giving me the opportunity to speak at such an important event , Women on Boards/Regional cooperation — one that not only promotes diversity, but also celebrates inspiring success stories where women play key roles in Executive Management and Boards.
We’ve seen that, countries and companies across the region are facing similar challenges. In this context, Boards play a critical leadership role in guiding companies toward their strategic goals. The board sets the tone!
Regional cooperation and the exchange of experiences in implementing best practices in corporate governance are clearly essential ingredients for sustainability, credibility, and broader recognition.

I’d also like to highlight two of my fellow panelists, both from Ukraine , Olena Malynska and Olena Vovk— one a board member, the other leading a family business. I was truly inspired by their dedication and resilience in continuing to fulfill their responsibilities with excellence, despite the extremely difficult circumstances caused by the war. Life goes on! Business goes on! There’s so much we can learn from them. Bravo to these heroines !
