The first edition of the Mid Summer Festival(Sânziene )in Salbek has ended, with the following results:

• the Contemporary Sculpture Park was opened with the unveiling of the Throne of Judgment, sculpture belonging to the sculptor Marius Ritiu,
• two shoots of historic oaks from Salbek will grow in the gardens from Vata Bai and Băița, contributing to the strengthening of biodiversity in those areas;
• The Pricoite of the Pădureni People Exhibition opened the arc overtime ending with the costumes of the Sanzienes in the vision of the design students from Timisoara;
• The two exhibitions Flora and Fauna of the Mures Valley were opened, with works in glass made by students from Cluj and Timisoara. Two mouse tail flowers , a cocoon and a butterfly have already been purchased at the silent auction, enriching private collections and giving a good start to the young artists! Their contribution to the castle restoration is well appreciated;
• And last but not least, more than 200 guests learned how to make apple and cheese twists, how to make crowns from Sanziene flowers and appreciated the piscoata with Sanziene flowers and the new Carpathia wines as well as the local Forrest fruits juice!
  The basis of an UNESCO file is nascent with the help of the National Institute of Heritage.
